An infinately large forest that has been forgotten and grown over, animals and large creatures rule over this forests inner most areas. It is not wise to enter the forest un-prepared, there are many strong creatures here, only the strong are able to survive.

Rules:
No need for profiles if you don't want to.
Keep swearing to a minimum.
No godmoding, auto hitting, power playing, etc.
Multiple characters are allowed, but not too many please.
Try to refrain from making up abilities just to suit a moment, it will be looked down on.

The forest is an open area, your character cannot already be living there, make an entrance post first. You are allowed to build a place to live in. That's everything I think, so lets begin.

Dreaver glid quietly over the vast towering forest, making lite work of the brutal wind that blasted its rage upon him, his wings never faltered and his tail guided his direction. True, he was not the best flyer of his species but he was decent none the less and he was pleanty good for this kind of wind.
Dreavers species was that of a Dragon, the mightiest creatures that roamed the world as wild animals, ever diverse as the humans but ever stronger and with ever tougher hydes. They also carried the wisdom of their age with them, Dreaver, just over 1000 was still young for his kin and yet still much older and wiser then any human on the planet they stood.
Dreaver was of the two winged, four legged kind of dragons with reverse turned horns that dragons usually beared. Although rather small for a dragon Dreavers years in combat showed, his power grasped by way of his skin; torn, battered but still holding strong and thick to keep out sharp objects. Unlike most dragons Dreaver has no weak spot on his underbelly, the scales hardened to a degree that they could not be peirced so easily with a human weapon, the burn marks that created this strength from the weakness were created by a friend who saught out to rid the dragons of such a weakness.
On Dreavers back, and holding on tight, a human sat. His eyes hidden by shade like goggles and his hair a deep red like blood, he also wore a similar sort of red on his clothing giving the impression that it could be his favourite colour. The human had two weapons upon his back and Dreaver had several strapped onto his. These two were companions, brothers in arms or travellors working together, they had been travelling for a while and had an unbreakable bond of friendship. The human was known among some dragon kind as a friend of dragons, a human that understood their plight and the misunderstanding surrounding them. Dragons were hunted creatures in many places, hunted for killing the rich, the same rich who struck first by killing their family for their arnaments, shields of dragon hyde to stave off fire and damage. Fangs of dragons used for polearms and knives and swords and spears, able to pierce many a sheild. The rich hunted the dragons families and if the dragons retaliated a price was put on their heads for death, a price which many a mercenary could not resist. The humans name was Dante, he had once been a mercenary but refused to kill them should they have real reason for doing what they did. He was not of the humans world, not of the homosapian origin, but of the Nemarian origin, from a planet called Nemra. He was human, and yet not of the human world, having lived the majority of his life there. This man weilded the power of fire, which perhapse was the reason he befriended and understood the dragons, those who mastered their flames to the point of not needing them beyond their breath.
The two continued to glide overtop of the forest heights, scouring the tree tops for a place to land. They were not here for any specific reason, not the one, they were here simply because they were here, the full result of a travellors journey.

"There." The man spoke to the dragon, releasing his grip with one hand in order to point in the direction of a small clearing. Not that the dragon could see the finger or hand or even arm, it was behind his head after all. But as the man spoke the dragon began looking in the same general direction that the man ws pointing, it was as if he saw the mans pointing arm or knew what the man was seeing or thinking, but neither was true. Dragons can tell everything their rider does based on enhanced smell, hearing and even a unique sense that dragons have that all other creatures seemed to lack, sight was little more then a confirmation of what was already known. "Land in that small clearing over there." The man continued, even if the dragon knew where he was pointing he may not have seen the area for the amount of trees blocking the veiw. The words were for his own confirmation, that the dragon had seen the gap and knew that it was there. The instructions were clear enough and the dragon turned in the direction of the vacant area, he need not tell the passenger that he had seen the area, it would be clear simply by his actions.
"Dante, what is it you intend to do in the forests underside? There is little to see and much thurther to travel." Spoke the dragon, his rough voice flaring at the air like the fire flares up the chimney of a fireplace. The course tone rumbling like an avalanche. He may have been young but like most dragon he was old enough for his voice to become rough and charcoal-y, it represented his strength and his age and his wildness. As the dragon continued to glide towards the open canopy it waited for the mans responce, it showed no signs of waiting or impatience, he had had a long life and had long to go, he was in no rush. This was only one reason ofcourse, dragons were naturally patient animals.
Finally the man answered, "I wish to see, that is all, what it is that lies beniethe this green foliage." and it was a simple answer at that, only to see what could not be seen at such a height above. He was of a simple nature, wandering from place to place just to see or hear or smell. His days of reckless adventure had long been over, he was fully a quarter the age of the dragon he rode, many years above a normal human and yet so young for his race. He yearned for adventure, wreckless or otherwise, his strength yearned to be tested and someday maybe bested.

Luciole enters unknowingly of the dangers that lie within this enchanted forest. Luciole is in need of food and wander to a nearby lake hoping to beable to fish."something seems strange about this forest." A short while after luciole cast his fishing rod into the lake, he catches a small blue fish. He reels it in and as it gets closer a dark shade in the water appears that is the size of 4 tree's. The shadow comes out of the water and appears to be a giant fish."Oh my god!" the fish eats luciole.

Luciole is now inside of the fish and must get out.

As the dragon reached its destination, it flapped its wings so as to hover. Just for a brief moment. It held its own substancial weight on the power of those wings, they were large and strong enough to support ten times his own weight upon him. With this power it was only natural that wind blasted beneithe every stroke of the wings span, shaking the trees below it like a gale. Dreaver, the dragon in question, lessened the force of his wings movement and the two began to slowly fall down into the gap in the trees canopy.
Once down at the tree line, the force of the wings held the dragon in place, the ground was more solid then the trees and held back the wind much more. Dreaver had to lessen his force again to continue to fall at a temperate pace. The leaves of the canopy brushed at the wings as they lowered until finally they broke through into the underside, the trees trunks were further apart then their branching canopy as so offered no blocking to the wings.
As they dropped down beneithe the leaves and the area became easier to see around, the man began to glance around, looking for signs of an attack or a trap of some kind. He was so well versed in the world that he suspised any assistance they recieved and even the open area counted, it could be a trap for airborn enemies or an area of a small village or large camp. Nothing was certain until he could see everything around him. "The area seems safe enough." He summerised before their landing, although it would already be clear to the dragon of the areas safety.
There was nothing below, not a trap nor a settlement, it was simply a lucky place to land, which was suspicious in itself. but there were also nothing around as far as the eye could see save tree trucnks leaves and undergrowth natural to the forest. Perhapse it was an old camp long moved on with the trees unreplaced, or perhapse the people that created the canopy gap were still around and good at hiding. If there were people around they did not make themselves known.

The man released hold of the dragon, since there was little to no movement now due to the dragon landing, the man had no reason to keep hold. With the same ease of a horse rider dimounting a horse, the man dimounted the dragon, leaping to the ground from the huge creatures back. His landing echoed in the trees, the forest was so empty that every sound would echo for large distances, this meant they would have to be weary, for if there were predators in the forest then they would have evolved a good sense of hearing to go with the echoing forest, even if they were far off they would have heard the newcomers arrival.
This meant nothing to the dragon, a predator himself, he knew how the predators chose their victims and an armored flight able creature with a powerful jaw and sharp claws and teeth were definately a last resort for predators of a place so peaceful. It stood to reason that creatures of the forest wouldn't have even seen a creature as well defended as a dragon during their whole lives much less attack one.
Once it was clear no one was coming to try their luck against the two, the man spoke again. "I'm heading thurther in, I'll be back when I've done abit of exploration." The man knew that the dragons size would be hinderance but he also knew that the dragon had no wish to explore such a place as a dark forest, for the mountains were a much better landscape and the dragon would much rather stretch its wings rather then keep them tucked in tight to avoid bumping them on trees. The dragon gave no responce to the mans words, the answer was as clear to both that no words were needed to be spoken.
So off the man went, thurther into the forest to scratch his itch for adventure. It may have been a dark and cold place, but te man was enjoying the chance to stretch his legs after such a long journey on the back of a dragon.
