Should the forum change since it's hard to see transparent sprites?

It is way too annoying when someone post a sprite animation or sprite with a transparent background and you can't even see anything thats dark. So vote on the poll should we change the color/ design or leave it?

Even though i like the design... Yes.

I vote no. If they really wanted to show the lines they could just post it without a transparent background.

Yea but then it you will have to reupload it to a website so they can show it without a background. So instead of having to make 2 uploads of the same file one without background and one with, you upload one which saves time.

Why would you need to upload the backgroundless one?

Well besides us needing to have transparent backgrounds on the animations when we give to seth.....

Animations also don't really look as good when they have a background unless its like a sprite series of some sort.

Also not forgetting the profile pictures.

Edit: It also makes sprite colors seem brighter then they actually are when in comparison with a black backgronud.

Since it's game maker, you could give sprite sheets to Seth. I don't really think you have to give him animations.

I like alot of animations that have backgrounds, plain or otherwise.

Profile pictures...I'm not sure on...I really don't have an opinion when it comes to them.

I never noticed a sprite colour difference.

I like the dark colour on the forum, mainly because it doesn't affect my eyes as much as a bright background does.

So does anybody else have opinions?

If you go onto the stage/ice Climbers stage I made...
The huge dark pillar is supposto be transparent now with dark I have a hard time to see if it is transparent.

Yea and the sprite animations were my reason for wanting to change it.

Well as long as it isn't anything bright, I don't want to hurt my eyes each time I come on to the forum.

I dont like the new forums.

You said not too bright, also Dragon's usually have that orange type coloring so i choose something that matched it.

I thought you were gonna just change the background...The whole style of the forum has been altered and the orange is too bright.

I would have had to change every individual piece of the background this is much easier.

But it looks weird.

Its not to bright, the orange looks great, not just black n' white, no more black void tampering with the transparency of some sprites and the only things I would change are the smiles.

The smilies have nothing to do with the forum style.

And I've found the option to change the background to not black without a complete forum style alteration, Luc really didn't need to change the entire style to change the background.

I guess we've just grown accustomed to the old layout but I think the orange makes us look like a newbish forum, which is not the impression we really want to give new members.
