| The other day I found out that my computer was harboring over 2000 errors, no joke. It was no wonder my computer kept getting slower even though I was removing crap from my computer. Now with the majority of those errors fixed maybe this darned thing will speed up. | |

| Well for me back then it's not like my pc had a bunch of errors it was that I had a bunch of viruses. My computer was so bad that the person who made the viruses was daily changing my desktop background. Storing porno folders onto my hardrive. And he messed with my mouse controls somehow. At first I would be making my mouse move to the left and then suddenly it would change direction. I had to completely swipe my whole computer and get rid of everything. | |

| Wow, they stored stuff on your harddrive? Madness, you could have wiped your hard drive clear at any time and they'd lose their files. | |

| Take your wireless out of your PC (or turn it off via the switch if its a laptop). Back up the files you really want onto a spare hard drive or memory stick then killdisk the system from Msdos to clear everything off the computer, then re-install windows.
Alternatively, get a new computer. :P

| That many errors? Geez, really? :S What do you use to scan for these errors?
I remember using some rubbish anti-malware program ages ago on an older computer, and that found 10,000+ "problems". I laughed my head off, and subsequently uninstalled it.
AVG was installed in its place, which found just a couple pieces of spyware. :P

| Errors, not malware. Just random bits and pieces of stuff that were uninstalled, the errors are basically the registry trying to find something that isn't there anymore.
AVG is great by the way, I suggest everyone get it, I also think Malware bytes is a great anti-malware program.

| Ahh, right, registry errors. :) Haha, yeah, if it had 2000 pieces of malware, it'd be like using the PC I used to have in 1996. It took about 861 years to close a window sometimes. :P
I second those comments about AVG and Malwarebytes. :D

| Yea I also use AVG even if it is only the free version. I did notice that it the first 20 minutes it finds all the problems but after that it is searching for no reason to me anyways. | |

| Yeah, first it scans startup folders and anywhere else viruses or other malware would most commonly infect. Probably why it gets all the problems right away. :D | |

| I triple those comments of AVG. I used to use Avast for protection, but AVG scans EVERYTHING. | |

| IDK, I mean on the free version the only thing I saw that it wouldn't allow me to use since I didn't pay was just a few options to scan stuff which I wasn't gonna use either way. | |

| It has quite a few things, half of them I don't know what they do. The bit I like most is it has its own firewall. | |
