Crumbling Colosseum

Area Background
It has been rumored that tornaments were held here years ago so that man could find out who was strongest amoungst them, why the tornaments were abolished and even if this rumor is true no one knows. The Colosseum, once a great and maginificent building, now is simply a patch of dirt in the middle of crumbling stands. Fighters still gather here though, to test their strength and find good opponents, it may be due to this that many of the parts of the Colosseum have been destroyed.

Area Specific Rules
None, fighting is allowed.

Locations
Central Arena
In the middle of the arena is a huge patch of dirt wide and long enough to contain 50 fights at one time, usually there are atleast 4 or 5 fights going on here and anyone hanging around is usually out for a fight.

The Northern Stands
North of the arena there are some stone stands, these stands are slightly damaged and weathered. There are places you can sit but you might want to bring a pillow due to the hard surfaces.

The Eastern Stands
East of the arena there are some stone stands, however they have been completely destroyed, all that's left are the stone wall and some rubble and debris.

The Southern Stands
South of the arena there are some stone stands, these stands look a little weathered but are generally fine. Even some of the things people used to sit on are still around. Generally there are people sitting up here enjoying watching the fights.

The Western Arch
Entry and exit point of the Colosseum, this large arch once had gates on it but they are a mangled heap of metal now that have been rusted by the weather conditions.

It was late at night when Deshar stepped into the Colisseum, he passed under the Western Arch and into the Central Arena. There were alot of people sleeping in the stands but the unusual sight were the people still awake and fighting in the Arena. There were also people watching them. To one side there was a man next to a cart, it was there that people could sign up for the tornament, Deshar decided to do so before it was too late.

"So this is the coleseum huh?"
Sword examined the arena where many people were fighting.
He also found the sign up stand, and from what he can tell, also deshar. He went to sign up.

Deshar was just signing the application when he saw the Blue Hedgehog run up to him. "Hey Little Blue, have you signed up yet, I'm all set."

Korrin arrived at the coliseum"Alright, i'm finally here. So there should be a sign up sheet somewhere." Korrin began to search, afterwards finding it he signed up.

Deshar glanced over at the other new face, it was the other guy from the bar. Small world after all. "Hey there, didn't think I'd be seeing you again so soon." He called out to Korrin.

After signing up, he greeted the 2 familiar faces
"Well this is surprising, I didn't think to see you guys again so soon"

"What's suprising Little Blue? I told you I was going to be participating in the tornament here and it's not long away." Deshar explained, the tornament would begin soon, sign ups were almost complete.

"Oh so your going to be in it too." He had assumed the guy was just another villager, who knew he was a fighter. "Guess I'll have my work cut out for me then."

"I wanted to see the scale of the strength of the people around here. Hopefully more people will join up before it starts." Deshar was clearly disappointed, he'd expected a full scale tornament with hundreds of fighters, maybe the Guild troubles of late had preoccupied people.

Suddenly a giant, ripped man walked up to Sword

"WE DON"T LET ANIMALS IN HERE YOU KNOW?
"What?" Said Sword curious to what he was refering
"I SAID THAT YOU CAN'T BE HERE LITTLE HEDGEHOG!"
"And where does it say that?"
"I SAY IT"
"You know what I say? Go get a breath mint, you smell as if you were from a barn."
"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?"
"I don't take well to racism, now please leave me alone."
The man seemed really pissed off.

Deshar sat down on the sand of the arena floor, there didn't seem to be anyone else joining up so it must've just been them for this tornament. He had intended to scope out possible candidates for the guild he wanted to make using this tornament but it seemed he would just be here to make money this time.

Wait a minute... there has to be a reason, I mean there are many fighters in the arena, but none of them signed up... something must be up!"

Deshar glanced at the round list that had been posted up. It was him vs Sword first, atleast he'd beable to find out what this guy could do. His demeaner changed, he made his way over to the alotted area and unsheathed his burning blade. "You ready Little Blue?"
