What do you want us to do with the forum?

We(the mod's and admin of this forum), have noticed the inactivity of this community. No members (anybody who has not posted atleast 5 times) have not been posting most likely due to lack of interest. Too find out more about our user's and what they would like to have on this forum, please post in this section and tell us everything you want.

IMO, this forum needs a project or something.

Something that stirs intrest and appeals tol everyone of the community.
Otherwise, the forum will die due to inactivity like that last one. :/

You wanna help make that game idea?

Or did you have some other project in mind?

Yesh it could also ill try to post tutorials for spriting in a little while.

So a Mugen game for a main project on the forum?

We'd need to make a thread or a sub-section for it, it sounds good.

Hmmm probably, but not sure we have anybody with COMPLETED sprite sheets right now.

Well since there's only really threeof us active right now, make a locked forum with the sprites we actually do have and we can have a sift through to see which ones would be best for it.

And it's not like we're expecting it to be instant, it takes abit of time.

I gotta try and learn the program for one thing.

I guess now I go and try to learn how to make things in Mugen.

Anyone got any tutorials you think would be helpful to me? Post them in the tutorial forum if you do.

Oh and Red, we will eventually add Luciole and Dante to our Mugen roster, I was wondering if you wanted Pokemon Trainer Red to be your staple character for the game or if you were thinking of making up another character to act as your behalf.
I'm sure we could come up with a pokemon trainer type character if you wanted your custom to be some where along those lines.

As for the pokemon in his moveset,

I'll go by the manga.

Meaning that the pokemon he'll use:

Charizard
Pika(Pikachu)
Poli(Poliwrath)
Gyara(Gyarados)
Lax(Snorlax)
Aero(Arydactol)
Mewtwo

Or

Saur(Venasaur)
Vee(Eevee)

Since in the manga, he was experimented on by team rocket, with the power of the stones(Fire stone, water stone, thunder stone)

Eevee can turn into:
Vaporeon
Flareon
Jolteon

or

He can just be Espeon(When he actually evolved)

Poli(Poliwrath)
Aero(Arydactol)
Pika(Pikachu)
And Snorlax

But in the manga, you could carry more than 6 pokemon in a party.
I still haven't decided what he'll use, but he'll most than like be able to do melee attacks.

Yeah, it's pretty good.

And there are some similarities, while there are differences.

Hi y'all - just coming out of Lurk Mode for a second to ask something.

What is the general purpose/subject(s) of this forum? I've sifted through every thread and I just can't tell. Is it about pixel art? Fan games? Anime? General game development? All of those things? Or have I missed something? I'm really confused. I'm not really an artist, but I'd be happy to post my own personal game development projects and stuff... however, if they don't fit with the general theme of the board, I won't. It'd be like posting about Xbox 360 games on a PS3 forum. A bit "out of place". :P

Good question and im happy too see you have "come out of the shell" Well this forum isn't exactly for just one thing as we thought it would allow more freedom, and variety. This forum is for all sorts of things seeing as how we are called a "community" the site will feature a variety of things you will notice in due time, such as your game development. Feel free too post about the games your creating, any sprites your making, videos you have created, games you may need help making, create a few contest why not? We hope to fit the needs of all users and everyone finds a purpose here and enjoys there time.
