Deshars angle of movement allowed him to dodge most of the knives, however he did take a few hits. He fired a blast of magic down at the ground to launch him into the air. Deshar gathered magic while in flight and launched it at Bobby.

Bobby jumped up, hoping to avoid the attack for the most point, but it hit him and sent him flying to the ground, where on the way down he threw a couple knives.

Deshar crossed his arms in a guard and gathered magic to them, he used it to knock away the knives that hit it. However, some still hit his legs. Deshar unleashed the magic in a cross shaped wave aimed at Bobby.

The attack barely hit Bobby, so he used the attack to fake getting hurt so that Deshar would be an unsuspecting victim of his "Dancing Blade" Technique. He hit the ground rolling towards Deshar, popped up in the air above his head, threw a knife directly down, landed behind Deshar on Bobby's feet, where he threw a bunch of knives at his back.

It was clear that Deshars attack hadn't hit, he quickly grasped hold of his burning blade and used it to guard the first knife. Upon landing Deshar rolled away, the distance would prove useful since he would listen out for where Bobby landed, the most ideal location for Bobby would be at Deshars back so Deshar turned up the heat of the flames on his sword and used it to melt the knives coming at him. But he used up the last of his magic with that move and sat down, he was unable to continue.
"You've gotten stronger." He pointed out to Bobby.

Bobby smiled. "Why, thank you. If I recall, we are now officially a guild, correct? Do I finally get an income?"

"It's not enough, you have only faught us two and each time you have been given a huge advantage." Deshar explained. "You need to get recognised as a decent fighter, therefore you will have to take part in the tornament, once it is over we'll find out if you have become recognised and go from there."

((I switch my class to Swordsman, I equip my Long Sword and my Basic Rags. I assign 10 points to Strength and 20 points to Wisdom.))

"Well, then, I guess I'll have to try my hardest in the tournament."
((I need points to assign. Why haven't I gained any experience yet? I had 40 XP left to level up like 2 battles ago. That's just ridiculous.))

While Sword waited patiently for the battle to end, he was practicing magic. It seemed that his trophy gave him more power than he should, since the sphere he placed was pretty much the same size as deshar's.

Deshar sat recooperating, it would be a while before he was fully able to fight again. It was a good job the tornament would be in a while. It was fast approaching.

Bobby daydreamed about the day he could exact his revenge on the man who killed his parents... but if he wanted to do that, he would have to at least beat a couple people who weren't going easy on him.

Deshar remembered the last tornament, it was short but the competitors were tough. Sword had won that last one...But the other guy Korrin, didn't seem to be around this time.

"Looks like it's almost time"
Sword started to try to practice magic in a new kind of way.

Soon enough the fighters involved gathered and the match ups for the first round were announced. It seemed Deshar had been given an early match against a fighter he didn't recognise. There was an assigned area for the tornament this time, Deshar took up position where he was told to and unsheathed his burning blade. Once the bell rang for the first round he was quick to rush at his opponent.
