| I suggest we change these character icons used as lives for something different.  For example, for mario characters we replace them for 1-ups, for DK bananas, for link triforce, for kirby an apple,For pokemon a pokeball,so on and so forth | |

My suggestion:
Mario: His hat logo
Luigi: His hat logo
Peach: A crown
Yoshi: A Yoshi egg
and so on. | |

But in Brawl this was a picture with the character like for example im playing as Mario and theres A portiat of mario. | |

Pikachu, Thunder Stone. Jigglypuff, Moon Stone. Mewtwo, Masterball. Trainer, Pokeball. I forget the other pokemons name and I'm not sure what his life symbol could be. | |
